Movement creates stress in your body, which recovery then heals and rebuilds. By taking part in a day of active recovery like walking or stretching, you reduce soreness, increase blood flow and regenerate. By taking part in passive recovery, like getting a good night’s sleep, your mind and body get a much-needed chance to reset, repair and restore.
